Groggy and Not With It

Still jet-lagged. And a gazillion things to do. We travel lightly. Ha! Three checked suitcases, not one of which weighed less than 65 pounds [we're allowed two each and 70 pounds per bag], along with a golf bag, and four carry-ons to unpack. Thankfully the bags contain mostly clean laundry. But even still, unpacking is just a daunting task when you're tired. A day's job. And, make food for The Kids. Have only a couple of days worth in the freezer. Sent a shipment from the States which should be here in a week or two. Twenty-four boxes. Including two hundred and forty pounds of dehydrated food from The Honest Kitchen. A lot of other goodies in the shipment as well. Canned potatoes. Canned crab meat. Miracle Whip. Watermelon Jell-O. All the stuff I can't find here. Stacks of books. Found a fantastic little used book store near my Mom's house! Cannot wait to start reading all the new books. Shoes. Lots and lots of shoes. The coolest purple boots! However, in order to make room for all the stuff that is coming I need to do some cleaning and reorganizing. Another daunting task. I'm going to be busy for the next week or so. Thankfully it has cooled off in The Sandbox and I can get out to the garage to clean - again - so that I can make some storage space... Overwhelming is what it is right now. And I'm just tired. Will force myself to stay awake all day and NOT take a nap so that hopefully I can be back on the time here in the short term. I think it took almost a week to get back on this time when we returned from the States last year. Arrgh...
