Locally...

Guess there isn't a whole lot going on in the Sandbox today. The news is sparse. The articles - even more sparse. Click on 'em. You'll see what I mean.

There's a report of a "bad milkman," the headline is a bit misleading... Someone [no need to play "guess the nationality"] tried to sell expired baby formula.

There's a report of a "woman being killed crossing the road." Perhaps if she was wearing white instead of being dressed head-to-toe in black the driver who hit her would have seen her. I think that women, for safety purposes, should be required to put reflective strips or blinking red lights on their black hefty bags after dark.

There is a lengthy article detailing how an Asian driver "rams into workers." Two sentences. Hardly newsworthy.

Three sentences on "200 cleaning workers" protesting the delay in their salary...

There will be "penalties soon for smokers." Yeah. Right. As soon as women are allowed to drive there will be penalties for smokers, here. And even if there are penalties, the ONLY ones who will receive penalties will be the ex-pats.

The headline says "Saudi man held for beating wife." It happened in Canada.
