Read This and Weep

[Mom - Do NOT read this post. Bad language used.]

I'm posting the links. I can't post the story, or the photos. I've been in tears over this for two days. It makes me physically ill. And, it makes me want to hunt down the barbarians sickfuckingbastards who did this to poor, innocent dogs, and go beyond "postal" on them. Beyond postal! Far far far beyond!!! You just can't even imagine what I want to do to whoever did this, but it would be safe to assume that it would be a long, slow, torturous and excruciatingly painful demise... I would make sure that the descendants of these sickfuckingbastards would be feeling their pain for generations to come.

Saw it first at Sweetness & Light, and then, again, at BelchSpeak.

NOT FOR DOG OR ANIMAL LOVERS! You've been warned.

Now, tell me again how "kind" and "peaceful" these people are.

  1. There is a special place in hell reserved for people who do these things to poor animals.
We rescued a rottweiler pup from a Saudi "breeder". Of course he was in the "breeding" business just for the money. Winnie was the runt of the litter and therefore was left to fend for herself. We got her when she was 12 weeks old.
I wish I could show you a picture of her. She's a beauty and the most loving animal you could want.

  2. Bless you, Linda, for rescuing Winnie! Just what we need in this part of the world - a group / culture opposed to dogs and breeding them for $$$. [What could possibly go wrong?!!?] Look for a story about a rooster and German Shepard puppies later this week... I'll try to remember to post on that. [Our first four-legged child was a Rottweiler - best four-legged child we have ever had. Sergeant - or Baby Sarge - more often, though - Pooh Bear.]

  3. Down girl: you must appoint a male gaurdian to visit the fishing village on Pulau Ketam. The problem with burning down villages is that it's hard to stop at just one, but i am willing to start there.

"Kind and Peaceful" is much like "anthropogenic climate change", in that no one outside of the government or a collage believes it. Tired of being told that I am an intolerant bigot because I see this kind of cruelty as systemic rather than episodic.

  4. Yes, such actions are revolting, it's sad that people still chose to treat animals in such a manner. People across the world and in varying religions have been found to commit such torture against poor helpless animals. Mind you, I am a Muslim, and I will be the first to admit that there are many people that follow my religion- yet it by no means makes them ambassadors of the religion- that are disgusting, and have zero respect for any sort of life. But I simply don't believe that one should blame an entire people and an entire religion for the actions of some. In Islam, we are taught NOT to abuse anyone, nor animal, and that the abuse of an animal can resort to being thrown in the hellfire (yes, we do believe this), Yet sadly there are ignorant people everywhere, you can find little kids throwing rocks at cats and dogs in the streets of Saudi, You can find kids doing the same, and mutilating animals in the middle of a suburban US town.

Anyway, my main point here is that Animal abuse is wrong, whomever the abuser may be.

  5. Sabra,
Thanks for linking back to me on this sad story. You know, when I first saw the post at S&L the post said that the animal abuse was because the islanders were muslim. After doing a little bit of research I found out the islanders were all ethnically and culturally Chinese.

And after visiting the official website of the island and looking at the pictures I completely agree that the village needed a program to control dogs, especially strays. They needed a program of spay and neutering and they needed to humanely put down animals they could not find homes for. But their own solution was absolutely barbaric. I get the feeling they have been doing this for years.

  6. Thanks for the update, Pat. Lost.In.Riyadh will, no doubt, feel better, now.

And, personally, I don't care who they are, or what religion they are, I still want to unleash my wrath upon them! Chinese Muslims? Chinese Christians? I don't care. They all deserve to be slowly, painfully...

  7. OMG!

Yes, I looked and I'm sorry I did.

Can't I join you in you campaign to bring a "long, slow, torturous and excruciatingly painful demise" to those involved?

    SickMotherFuckers is right!

  8. If I put the warning in red letters next time, Janice, will that help?

Of course YOU can join me! I'd be thrilled to have you help me in bringing about a "long, slow, torturous and excruciatingly painful demise" to the sickfuckingbastards that did this to poor, helpless, defenseless dogs.
