People! People! People! JUST STOP IT!!!

My gosh, I swear the next time someone asks me if I feel safe living here I am going to say, with no regrets, that yes, I do. At least we don't have random shootings on a twice-weekly basis that are killing scores of people. See? That is what a strict and tough justice system does. It controls criminals. You do a crime? You do time, you get lashed or you get beheaded.

What the heck is going on over there in the States? You elected your chosen one - hopechange was going to make everything just perfect for you. There is no excuse. We have the lowlifescumbag career criminal piece of sh!t who shot a handful of Police Officers two weeks ago in Oakland, California. Then there was the dirtbag who was pissed at his ex-wife who killed the innocent elderly patients at a nursing home in North Carolina last week. Yesterday there was the illegal alien who was upset over not being able to speak English and had lost his job [huh? hopechange didn't come through for you? How 'bout Nancy - she doesn't want to see illegal aliens deported and wants to give them as much welfare as they want - you should have gone to Washington and hung out outside her office - and "chatted" with her - we'd all be a lot better off - never mind]. And, now, three more Police Officers in Pennsylvania have been killed by someone for no apparent and good reason and five more injured. Get a grip people!

Much, much safer, here. Thank you very much. May even stay longer than originally planned with all that is happening there. [Subject to change, though, on a daily basis. You just never know what can happen.]

So what is the problem? Is it hopechange? Jobs lost. Houses being foreclosed on. Bad economy. Biggest tax increases in eons about to come down the pike. Trillions and trillions of dollars of debt to be incurred. Yeah. All that crap. Yes. Part of it is indeed hopechange. 53% of you voted for it. Those of you included in that 53% for goodness sake. Put your big boys' and girls' panties on and deal with it. You asked for it. You got it. For the rest of us - the 47% that didn't vote for it? Let's just hope that more and more of the bad guys somehow manage to take out each other and we won't have to continue funding their welfare payments, their mortgage payments and their car payments.

  1. honestly, despite the lack of respect women have where you are, i'd stay put as long as possible. things are going to get far worse here before they get any better. i would expect more shootings as people lose their grip on whatever it is keeping them sane from day to day...in the face of a failing economy and financial ruin, anyone could snap.

it's scary here. :\ i really wish we'd gotten out of Maryland well before now...with the housing market completely tanked, we're staying put until we can actually sell the house, but by then things will have gone south for quite a few more people. i dread that happening.

  2. Most excellent advice, falnfenix. And that, at the present, is our plan. Four more years. Minimum.

You dread what is happening. Do you think people will actually be able to "fight" back and get things on the right track, again?

  3. I just tell those who ask if I feel safe, "If I didn't, I wouldn't be here."
As for the rest of the insanity going on in the USA, I didn't vote for it. God help us, because Mr. O is taking us to He** in a handcart at a high rate of speed.

  4. I've said the same thing, Linda. When it becomes not safe - we'll leave. Right now, though, I do believe we are safer here than there.

You are so right... Taking us to He** in a handcart at a high rate of speed. Those handcarts have NO brakes, either!

  5. i think they'll be able to, but i don't think they WILL unless they get so desperate that they see no other choice. i doubt there will be much order in it, either.

  6. The two shooters were orrible little men, and by comparison i look quite wholesome. I didn't shoot anyone this week, which is a low standard for decency but i manage at least that much.

  7. Someone said this week, "We should take D.C. back while 'he' is out of the country." An actor. Can't think of who though. Would have been a good plan.

We will have no choice but to do it via elections, falnfenix. And that will be impossible until voter fraud is done away with completely.

  8. They were indeed horrible, vermindust. Making us all look "quite wholesome." Good one: "...low standard for decency." Got to remember to use that one in some way!

  9. Oh, gosh. I was one of the annoying ones that asked that question when I first found you several months ago. Its not a question I'd ask of you now with the way things are starting to be here!

  10. No Shannon, you were not "one of the annoying ones." Not to worry. But, like I said in the post, with what is happening in the U.S. there are times when I truly feel safer over here in The Sandbox.

  11. i agree, elections are the only way to take it back...BUT, there are entirely too many people around here who still believe he is the country's savior. the vocally angry are outnumbered by the zealots.

  12. Somehow, falnfenix, that the zealots are outnumbered is not a big surprise. Keep 'em barefoot and on welfare, let all the illegals stay and vote... The rest of us are outnumbered!
